Description
The Investor Relations department is key in interfacing directly with investors (e.g. current and potential shareholders and the broader financial community) as well as sell-side analysts/brokers / rating agencies. The department assists the financial community in understanding SCOR’s investment thesis, financial results and other finance-related publications. The department also assists SCOR in understanding its competitors' performance. Responsibilities under the supervision of the investor relations team you will contribute to the following work streams: Gather public intelligence from competitors, benchmarking their financial performance Prepare internal studies on competitive landscape, peers performance Listen and summarise the competitors’ calls to understand their strategy and share them with the wider SCOR community Leverage sell-side and ratings analyses to support your studies and come up with a qualitative judgement on peers performance Support the IR team on the rest of its work preparing SCOR’s financial quarterly results and/or Investor Day Benchmark reinsurers’ results and news flows Help prepare internal documents for the Executive Committee and the Board Answer the team’s requests on targeted ad hoc projects

Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel Fluency in English is necessary. Fluency in French is preferable but not required. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and international environment. Previous relevant experience in strategy - or finance-related functions – either for a corporate, or an audit / consulting / investment banking firm would be ideal but not necessary. Required Education Business school background, looking for a 6-month internship as part of a gap year or upon graduation (equivalent to Bac +5).
